1. Who is responsible for your data

Pelasgos Homes & Constructions Limited ("Pelasgos Homes", "we", "us") is a company registered in Cyprus under number HE 331475, with registered office at 65 Ellados Street, Flat/Office 2, 3041 Limassol, Cyprus, and business offices at Agnooumenon 4, 4528 Pentakomo, Limassol, Cyprus. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

2. What this policy covers

This policy covers the website pelasgoshomes.com in its English, Greek, Hebrew and Russian versions, and the enquiries you send us. If you are a client, supplier or partner of Pelasgos Homes, the handling of your data in the course of a project is described in your agreement with us. Any client portal we make available to clients is a separate service with its own privacy notice.

3. What we process, why, and on what legal basis

We only process data that you give us or that your device transmits when you use the website. We do not buy data about you and do not combine it with data from other sources.

3.1 Visiting the website

When you open a page, the servers that host the website record technical data: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages requested, the date and time, and the page that referred you. This is needed to deliver the pages, keep the website secure, prevent abuse and diagnose faults.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating a secure and reliable website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Retention: for as long as needed for security monitoring and fault diagnosis, after which the logs are deleted or anonymised.

3.2 Enquiries

You can contact us by email or telephone and, when it is enabled, through the online enquiry form on this website. When you send an enquiry we process your name, email address, telephone number, the details of your enquiry, such as the type of project and the location of your plot or property, and the content of your message. If you use the online form, we also process the language of the page you used, the time you confirmed that you had read this policy, and technical anti-spam data.

We use this to answer your enquiry, assess whether and how your project can be built, contact you to discuss it, and prepare a proposal.

Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), and our legitimate interest in preventing automated spam and keeping a record of our correspondence (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Where the data goes: enquiries are received in the company's office email account. When our online enquiry form is enabled, information submitted through it may also be recorded in our project-management system; this policy will be updated where necessary to reflect the final integration.

Retention: if no project follows, we retain enquiry correspondence and contact details for 24 months after our last contact, unless we need to retain particular information for a longer period for a legal claim or another legal obligation. If a project follows, the enquiry becomes part of the project file and is kept for the duration of the project and for the period afterwards for which Cyprus tax and accounting law requires us to keep contract and accounting records, currently six years.

You are not obliged to give us this data, but we cannot answer an enquiry without a way to contact you.

4. Who receives your data

Your data may be received by:

  • the cloud hosting provider of our website and its infrastructure providers, for the technical data described in section 3.1, which they process in accordance with their data-protection terms;
  • our email service provider, which delivers your communications to the company's office email account;
  • once the online enquiry form is enabled, the provider of our project-management system (section 3.2);
  • our professional advisers (lawyers, accountants, architects and engineers), where necessary for your project;
  • public authorities, where the law requires it.

We do not sell personal data and do not use it for advertising.

5. International transfers

Where any of our providers processes personal data outside the European Economic Area, we rely on a European Commission adequacy decision, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. You can ask us for details at info@pelasgoshomes.com.

This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking technologies. See our Cookie Policy.

7. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you and receive a copy;
  • have inaccurate data corrected and incomplete data completed;
  • have your data deleted, where there is no longer a legal reason for us to keep it;
  • restrict processing while a question about accuracy or lawfulness is resolved;
  • receive the data you gave us in a structured, machine-readable format;
  • object to processing based on our legitimate interests, on grounds relating to your particular situation;
  • withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

To exercise a right, email info@pelasgoshomes.com. We answer within one month. For complex or numerous requests we may extend this by up to two further months, and we will tell you if so. We may ask you to confirm your identity before acting on a request.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection of the Republic of Cyprus (www.dataprotection.gov.cy, commissioner@dataprotection.gov.cy), or with the supervisory authority of the EU country where you live or work.

8. Automated decisions

We do not make decisions about you by automated means and we do not profile you.

9. Children

The website and the enquiry form are intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Security

The website is served over HTTPS. Enquiry data is accessible only to the staff who handle enquiries, and our providers are bound by contract to protect it. No transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please do not send us sensitive information, such as identity documents or bank details, by email or through the enquiry form. When a project requires such information, we will ask for it through a secure channel.

11. Project portfolio

We do not identify private homeowners by name in project portfolio content.

12. Changes to this policy

We publish any change on this page with a new version number and date. If a change materially affects how we use your data, we will say so prominently on the website.

This policy is governed by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the Cyprus Law 125(I)/2018 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data.
